INDOOR PISTOL

Starts OCT 10th

Indoor Pistol is shot on Tuesdays at 7:00 PM, October through April.

For safety all aspects of gun handling are controlled by range officer commands.  Eye and Ear Protection are mandatory for everyone present.  22 Magnums are not allowed.

We shoot the NRA Bull's-eye course at 50 feet.  This consists of ‘SLOW-FIRE’ 10 shots in 10 minutes, ‘TIMED-FIRE’ 5 shots in 20 seconds (repeat) and ‘RAPID-FIRE’ 5 shots in 10 seconds (repeat).

The preferred gun is a 22 rim fire semi-auto.  Revolvers may be used but are at a disadvantage in the ‘timed & rapid-fire’ stages.  Any type of sights including scopes and ‘red dots’ are acceptable.

Center fire shooters may also try their hand at this game with range approved ammo (non-jacketed bullets traveling at less than 1000 feet per second).  Due to the ‘noise factor’ center fire shooters will shoot on a different relay than rim fire shooters.

We are a relaxed, non-competitive group with safety and fun as our main goal.  No shooter is required to shoot all 3 stages. Only the shooter keeps scores.

We welcome new shooters and are always willing to help.

There is a $2 range fee to cover the cost of targets and such.
