About the Club

Access to the great outdoors is becoming less and less available to the average person. Each day industry and progress takes away acres of land from those of us who enjoy the outdoors. Soon land will only be available by joining expensive private clubs. We provide access to the great outdoors without stripping your pockets.

The Painted Post Field and Stream provides shooters in the Southern Tier of New York with facilities to shoot skeet, trap, sporting clays, an indoor 50ft pistol and small bore rifle range, and an outdoor 200 meter range with berms every 25 meters.

Regular activities include monthly membership meetings and dinners, .22 light rifle shoots, NRA indoor pistol shoots, club skeet, sporting clays, and black powder shoots.range-1.JPG (37297 bytes)

Special events include an annual sporting goods flea market, indoor .22 bench rest match, IBS bench rest match, black powder silhouette match, annual turkey shoot, and sporting clays registered shoots.

The clubs facilities include an 170 acre site that borders on 2,000 acres NY State hunting land, clubhouse with kitchen and meeting room, 50 foot indoor range for pistol, rifle and archery, 200 meter outdoor range with 30 covered shooting benches, skeet range, sporting clays 100 round course, and a covered pavilion with a barbecue pit.
