Clay
events needs help: The shotgun/clay pigeon events have been the biggest
source of income for this club. Dave Cook has been bearing the load for the
clay events for quite some time and doing a great job, but he cant do it all forever. If any of you shotgunners
would like to shoot more often, help run an event. If anyone has some time and
would like to run any kind of shooting event that would bring in some money
call a board member or come to a board meeting and give us your idea.
Sunday Aug. 24th 8:30am to 4pm
we are having a NRA youth sports camp.
Must be under 18 to participate. Youth under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Event is limited
to 50. To pre-register call Don at 962-6768 or Debbie at
962-2111. Event will be much the same as last year to include: .22
rifle, shotgun and black powder (over 12), air rifles, etc. Lunch will be included. Last year was
great even with the storm. Maybe this year mother nature
will nicer to us.

updates on the calender. The next paper copy of the
newsletter will be September. Have a good summer and shoot safe.
